More about Waymark

Waymark Marine Services is a premium boat service company offering detailing,
boat/yacht management, concierge services, and captain services. The founder has
been in the marine detailing industry for over 6 years. As fellow lifelong boaters, we
understand how important it is to spend more time on the water, and we’re here to make
that process as convenient as possible while guiding our clients every step of the way.

The Meaning

After developing a strong network in East Tennessee and taking a leap of faith to build
a new future in Charleston, Waymark felt like the perfect name. It symbolizes legacy,
direction, and leaving a mark. Motivated by his late grandfather’s influence and a desire
to serve his community, Peyton created Waymark to guide boaters with integrity and
care along the Carolina coastline.

At Waymark, we pride ourselves on offering a multitude of services, but we also have

We realize every boat is different, and each owner may have unique goals for their
vessel’s care. That’s why our team completes an in-person inspection, listens to your
needs, and provides a clear quote — so there’s no confusion on pricing or service.

Concierge Services

Trip Preparation:
● Full interior and exterior clean
● Fueling and fluid checks
● Provisioning: drinks, snacks, cooler stocking
● Gear check: life jackets, lines, fenders, safety equipment, registration

Post-Trip Turnaround:
● Full clean-up and reset
● Restocking of supplies
● Trash removal and wipe-down
● Secure cover, remove cushions, and properly store the boat

Storm Prep & Emergency Response:
● Custom storm-readiness plans based on vessel type and location
● On-site inspections before projected storms
● Securing canvas, isinglass, cushions, biminis, and gear
● Doubling dock lines and adding chafe protection
● Photo documentation before and after
● Post-storm reports and coordination with boatyards, lifts, or haul-out services
